How many baby clothes should I stock up on?

I know babies grow fast especially newborns. I dont want to go crazy in buying baby clothes that they wont wear. How many outfits per baby stage are good? I always go with 8 – 10 onesies (undershirts), 5-8 sleepers (footsie pyjamas), and 2-3 "visiting" outfits (the fancier stuff) for each size. Also, 8-10 pairs [...]
