Can you suggest a detergent to wash baby's clothes preferably fragrance and dye free?

I am travelling with my 4 month old baby to India for the first time. He has sensitive skin and I used baby detergent in the US which is gentle on the clothes. Does anybody know of a similar detergent in India- any thing that is dye andd fragrance free works well with baby clothes. Alternatively can anybody suggest something that I can use? I am uncertain what to do, as I am staying in different places (Mumbai, Coimbatore and Mangalore) for about 2 months and cannot carry detergent from the US.Thanks!

I found this detergent at my friends online baby store www.babywillows.com. It's called The Laundress Baby Detergent
I am sure they can ship it anywhere you are. Its got very good reviews online and should probably only take a couple of days to reach you.

Procter and Gamble sells it's products in India. I use Tide Free on my baby clothes — Tide is made by P&G. Hopefully they carry that particular kind of Tide in India.

here's a site that rates detergents for cloth diapers, based on enzymes, brighteners, dyes, fragrance & softeners… it may be helpful for you to find a detergent that will fit your needs.

the second link tells you how you can make your own detergent, which could be useful if you can't find the right detergent over there!

If all else fails you should be able to find old fashioned laundry soap in the bar. I think that is always dye free and usually perfume free.
